What is your role?

Select your role from the options below, which will take you to a list of relevant questions and issues you may face.

You may wear many hats, performing many roles at work. You can start with your major role, as you define it. Later, you can select other roles to discover more ways we can help you.

Are you a:

1.Business Owner
 You are the primary owner of your business. Your role is to support the management you have chosen, and see that your long-term interests are maintained.
2.General Manager
 You are the functional leader of a site. All key production personnel and all or most of the support personnel are under your span of control.
3.Sales Manager
 The sales functions of your firm are primarily your responsibility.
4.Production Manager
 You are responsible for the main production of your facility. You have supervisors that report to you and provide the day-to-day instruction and control for the operating employees.
5.Procurement Manager
 The function of purchasing raw materials, products, and services are in your area. (You may have buyers that report to you.)
6.Cost Accountant / Controller
 You are responsible for cost and/or management accounting functions.
7.Human Resources Manager
 You are responsible for employee relations and workforce policies.
8.Support Area Supervisor
 You are in the first rank of management for a support or non-production area, and support area employees report to you.
9.Quality Manager
 Product quality and/ or process quality are primarily your responsibility.
10.Engineering Manager
 Various engineering functions reside in your area: plant engineering, machine design or specification, workflow design. You may have plant engineers that report to your position.
11.Plant Engineer
 You are responsible for shop floor processes, equipment location, and/ or workflow design.
12.Maintenance Manager
 Equipment maintenance and/or overhaul is in your area of responsibility. You may have a staff that provides maintenance support for production equipment.
13.Production Supervisor
  You are in the first rank of management, and operating employees in the production areas report to you.
